Doug invents a new game, One Card Texas Hold'em. It's actually just normal NLHE, with a piece of paper taped to the monitor to cover one of the cards. The only rule is that Doug can not look at his 2nd card until the river. For this test drive, it will be played at $200NL.

Many interesting complications arise from only seeing one hole card. Extra emphasis is placed on rank, with Aces and Kings soaring in value. Many pocket pairs will be folded. Sometimes you make flushes and straights without knowing it.

Although the game is completely absurd, Doug takes it seriously, formulating a strategy and explaining his thought processes without holding back. He uses a randomizer, which is essentially a virtual dice, to keep his frequencies balanced.
